Address Watch List

Aside from providing information on transactions and tokens, Etherscan.io also has features tailored for personal use such as Private Notes, Private Tag, Contract Address Ownership Verification and API-Keys.

All the features above are only available for our registered users. If you have not registered for an Etherscan user account yet, you may do so here (it's free!).

The Watch List Feature

What this feature does is it tracks addresses of your choice and notifies you via email whenever ingoing or outgoing transactions involving the listed addresses occur.

To access this feature, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Login to your account here

  2. After you have logged in to your account, you will be redirected to the Account Overview page. On this page, click on the Watch List sidebar as highlighted by the red box in the screenshot below:

  1. After you have clicked on Watch List, click on the Add button as highlighted in the screenshot below:
  1. Afterwards, paste the address that you want to keep track into the Ethereum Address field and include any description of the address (if needed) on the Description field below it. You can also adjust the notification setting for the address up to your preferences and choose a specific type of token transfers.
  1. Once you are finished setting up the address, you will then see the address has been added into your Watch List. To add another address into the Watch List, just repeat the steps above.

Do note that this feature is limited to 50 addresses per user account. At the same time, if you want to hide a certain addresses or tokens from appearing on your transactions tab, do refer to this article.
