Ask Etherscan
Ask Etherscan is an AI-powered assistant built into Etherscan that makes blockchain data easier to understand. Instead of analyzing raw transactions or token transfers on your own, you can simply ask a question and get a clear, structured answer.
This feature is available exclusively to Etherscan's 10th Anniversary Points Campaign participants with a Points balance, and it can be upgraded by redeeming with Etherscan Points.
Ask Etherscan is only available when you are logged in to your Etherscan account. Once logged in, you’ll see the Ask Etherscan (Beta) button at the bottom-right corner of the page (if you have a Points balance). Clicking it opens a chat window where you can start asking questions. If you are not logged in or do not have a Points balance, the widget will not appear.
How Ask Etherscan Works
When the chat window opens, you can type your own query or try one of the suggested prompts.
For example, you can ask:
- Summarize an address’s token holdings
- Explain a transaction to me
- Who owns the most USDT?
At this stage, Ask Etherscan is limited to helping you with:
- Explaining a transaction
- Summarizing an address
- Reviewing token holdings
It will fetch the relevant onchain data and present it in an easy-to-read format.
Increasing Your Ask Etherscan Limit
By default, Ask Etherscan comes with limited usage. To unlock more, you can redeem with 2000 Points.
